As a division of the University Surgical Centre, we offer care in the depth and breadth of Colorectal Surgery. All aspects of Colorectal Surgery can be dealt with here. Our consultant colorectal surgeons have trained in various Colorectal Units round the world and are experts in Colon Cancer, Rectal Cancer, Anorectal Physiology and Functional Disorders, Incontinence, Constipation, Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Colon Surgery, Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy.

Being a University and internationally renowned Colorectal Unit, we are also involved in training and education colorectal surgeons in the region and have a Fellowship Programme as well as annual Hand- Assisted Laparoscopic courses and Endorectal Ultrasound Courses.

With focus on service and convenience for the patient, the NUH Colorectal Clinic is a one-stop clinic providing comprehensive care for patients suffering from any medical or surgical conditions affecting the colon, rectum and anus. We provide complete, prompt and thorough colorectal surgical services to all patients with problems of the colon, rectum and anus. Specialist colorectal surgeons are in attendance everyday and direct access colonoscopy / gastroscopy services are also available, thereby reducing waiting time.

Bowel problems are sensitive topics and most patients are embarrassed about these symptoms. The clinic provides a comfortable and private environment where patients can discuss their symptoms and be assessed thoroughly. Moreover, patients can have most of their investigations and some of their treatment performed on site in this clinic.

Last but not least, as a special consideration for our female patients. We do know how awkward it is to seek help on a colorectal issue and over here at NUH Colorectal Clinic, we have a female Colorectal Consultant who are available to help you sort out the problems, whilst minimizing the embarrassment of the situation.
